David Williams

David Williams' fascination with cybersecurity began at 16, when a summer internship at a Veterans Administration hospital ended with him accidentally crashing a DEC PDP 11/34. After that early brush with "cyber threat management," he turned to the business side—earning an economics degree from Wesleyan and an MBA from Harvard before working across North America, Europe, and Asia with The Boston Consulting Group and MedPharma Partners. With decades of experience in healthcare technology, policy, and risk assessment, David now focuses on using software to reduce drudgery and protect people from harm.

Matthew Carr

Co-Founder | Head of Research & Technology

Matthew Carr is an award-winning cybersecurity researcher and penetration tester trusted by government agencies and global companies alike. With senior roles at IKEA, IBM, and SecureLink, he built deep, hands-on expertise in real-world security operations. He regularly speaks at leading industry events, teaches industrial and offensive security, and competes in capture-the-flag hacking tournaments against teams from Google, Microsoft, and Tencent. His groundbreaking research—featured by the BBC, The Register, and Fox News—includes two Zero-Day discoveries, one with national-security impact.
